I finally got this like 3 weeks after the other stuff it was supposed to be shipped with.
Other than that it was a good book, good art, good plot for the genre mind you. Its a pretty basic Ecchi manga which is good to read every now and then. As for things about the book it had these little flaps folded in on the cover for both sides which I assume is for marking your spot like a bookmark which while handy to have isnt really needed for me since I usually read them in one sitting. The paper quality seemed a little low as everything had a yellowish tint to it. Taking everything into account I would say it gets about a 4/5 which means I most likely will be buying the other volumes when possible.

Okay this is something I purchased based on the fact that I enjoyed the anime quite a bit. While its not bad in its manga form it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. The story pretty much follows the same with a few small variations here and there nothing too ground breaking though. I don’t know if it was actually bad cause it could just have been that it did not meet my expectations making it seem worse I suppose not too much else to say has good print and binding quality a few good cultural notes in the back pretty much what I have come to expect. So taking everything into account I would say 3/5 you can add another point to it if you make alot of focus on art as it is of really high quality here.

Nope don’t have any but it is surprising that I get about 30 or so hits a day from this one inquiry which is majority since I get like 40 a day. Just for clarification I will not give out links to scans even if I did have them and Chibi Vampire is a good series and do believe it warrants a purchase anyway!(something I don’t say to often) I would say try to see if a library in your area has manga to be taken out I know in the Milwaukee area here we have an online catalog and we can have them send stuff from different libraries to one closer to you. I recommend trying that I have read a few that way I was reading Bleach in this manner till I decided everything was too dragged out for me.

Now not creepy in the sense that I think its disgusting but its not something I would go walking around talking about either! So I was wondering if anyone had an recommendations on which one to get as I looked just for a min and was completely floored with the many choices. I sometimes have trouble sleeping at night and my docter actually recommended I get something to grab onto at night for somekind of sleeping/backproblem I had been having when I wakeup he said it should keep my back in a better sleeping position and I won’t end up rolling out of my bed so much. (happens more than you would think I would say 1/3 times I go to sleep I wake up on the floor) Anyway since my doctor said I needed a large pillow or something Ifigured this would be a good time to exercise my weaboo side so anyone have any suggestions just send me message or leave a comment or whatever.
edit: fixed title darn spelling!

Best one I got out of three. I did watch the anime first so I got a generally gist of the story already in my mind but the manga has a few differences between the two nothing all that important more stylistic changes in the anime to make it more dramatic though from what I have read so far. Anyway this is my last one of my review trifecta with one coming later which is Puri Puri I ordered 4 at once but they only shipped 3 to me so far. review after the jump

This was what I consider the worst of three I received. It was part of Seven seas strawberry line for those that don’t know is pretty much all the manga they have with yuri in it. It may have been just the first volume that was almost entirely lacking the aforementioned yuri bar maybe what I would consider 1-3 pages of actual yuri content. Or the tag is used very loosely either or on to the review.

Okay this is kinda be part of a triple header I am doing on some Manga I just received in the mail after I ordered some off my recommendations list from Amazon.com lets see how good it did.
First up is Alice on Deadlines from Tokyopop, this one came in second to the ones I recieved today but it still wasn’t all that good not sure if it gets better but at this point I don’t really have an urge to buy more or even go and read it in the store to find out.
The story starts out about a perverted shinigami who was just assigned another job, (story sets him up as kind of a failure for some mistakes he made in the past it seems.) So he is sent to the human realm but all shinigami who go have to assume a human form usually by taking the body of a corpse, but since last time he was sent he got a “hot” female body he apparently ended up goofing off too much to do any work so this time the chief(of whatever the shinigami’s organization is) tells him he will be put in a skeleton to prevent this from happening again. Of course this would have made the manga more boring so when he gets sent down he accidentally bumps the soul out of a young high school girl named Alice whose soul then ends up in the intended skeleton. So as could have been predicted he goes kinda lesbian on all the other female students with his new body meanwhile while Alice tries to keep him from doing anything too disturbing with her body till she gets it back.

Just have to start wondering why they decided not to just name the Manga series Karin like the original, even more so because the anime has kept the Karin name. Anyway to the actual review I am doing as a bulk since i just finished reading 6 but I don’t feel like doing a separate post for the previous 5 so I will just mush them together I believe it only goes to volume 14 from what I heard so lets just say its the halfway point about. So anyway the manga is about a girl named Karin who happens to be a vampire but not one in the traditional sense as she is a vampire who makes blood and injects it into others instead of sucking it from the person. If she fails to get it out when she is producing blood she will often have a nosebleed. This comes into play as the main male lead Kenta Usui happens to be the type of person she is attracted too which is misfortune, or sadness or something like that. This causes her blood to increase more rapidly which causes quite a few problems since not only are they in the same class in school they also work part-time at the same restaurant.
Anyway thats a very vague summary of the series as a whole, so it pretty much follows a generic love comedy format which isn’t really bad since the vampire thing really adds a bit of variety here and there. Overall I would say I do greatly enjoy the way the series is going so far a little bit of drama here and there ( a bit more in vol6 though) but for the most part is a romantic comedy which I enjoy quite a bit and I do just love the facial expressions Karin makes throughout the Manga. I would do some scans but I have no idea how to do that without ruining my copies so I suggest you find a few somewhere see if you like it and buy it I know I did.
